The Look of the Sun | tàiyáng de yàngzi | 太陽的樣子
从前，有一个生下来眼睛就瞎了的人，不知道太阳的样子，他就问看过太阳的人。有人告诉他说: 「太阳的样子，就像一个铜盘。」几天以后，他有机会摸到了铜盘，并且敲了一下，铜盘发出了声音。后来，他一听到敲钟的声音，就认为那就是太阳了! 还有人告诉他说:「太阳像蜡烛一样，会发光。」瞎子听了以后也摸了蜡烛，还把形状记得牢牢的。后来，他有机会摸到笛子，也以为自己是摸到了太阳!
In the past, there was a man who was born blind that didn't know what the sun looked like. So, he asked people who saw it. One man said: "The sun looks like a copper plate." Days later, the blind man had an opportunity to touch a copper plate, which he banged on. The copper plate emitted a sound. Then, when he heard the sound of a temple bell, he thought that it must be the sun! Another man said: "The sun gives out light like a candle." After hearing this, the blind man touched a candle, and remembered its shape firmly in mind. When he had an opportunity to touch a bamboo flute, he then also believed that he had felt the sun!
