Yippee! Today is the Fourth of July. Ever since 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was issued, the Fourth of July has been America's "Independence Day!" The Fourth of July is one of America’s major public holidays, and also a day to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The enactment of this document marks North America's separation from England and the birth of the United States of America. In honor of this great day in history, Americans go with friends and family to parks or lakesides to barbecue and watch the fireworks together. My parents enjoy watching the fireworks too. On the Fourth of July, the fireworks show in America is really very special! If you live abroad but still want to see it, you can watch on TV or the Internet.
